A Year in Review
2013 was a successful year for INOC, a 24×7 Network Operations Center (NOC) and global provider of NOC monitoring, reporting and support services. Among the company’s collective achievements throughout the year were its instrumental role in the turn-up and continued support of a nationwide Wi-Fi network for a tier 1 carrier as well as the completion of a temporary NOC for the RSNA®2013 Annual Meeting – the world’s premier event in medical imaging.
INOC also expanded its monitoring capabilities to span physical, virtual and cloud-based infrastructure, including providing support to several new microwave networks across the US as well as launching enhanced NOC support services for data center and cloud environments. By integrating various infrastructure monitoring software with its proprietary platform, INOC proved successful in converging different cloud monitoring and reporting capabilities into a single, comprehensive NOC support service. In order to effectively support its growing monitoring activities and customer base, the company also expanded its Madison, WI-based NOC staff by approximately 20%, further fortifying its team with skilled engineers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
2013 also brought many new opportunities for INOC on the trade show and conference front. Numerous INOC team members were selected to moderate and speak on several educational panels including the Northeast DAS and Small Cell Association (NEDAS) educational events as well as WISPAPALOOZA. Furthermore, the company had a presence at several national events and industry-wide conferences including AGL Wireless, Comptel, Cloud Partners, Ethernet and SDN Expo and Telx MarketplaceLIVE West.
As INOC celebrates another successful year, it is also gearing up for new market expansion, extended service offerings, increased trade show and conference participation, and a modern, redesigned website in the new year ahead.
In 2014, the company has set its sights on the growing Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), WiFi and Small Cells market. These networks are pivotal in creating ubiquitous wireless coverage in both in-building and outdoor environments. INOC provides 24×7 monitoring and support, delivering the high network availability and reliability that enables them to do so. As experts in different vendor / equipment-specific support, the INOC team will continue to expand its customer base within this growing vertical, while serving as thought-leaders and contributors to wireless-related forums, events and educational sessions.
In addition to wireless, INOC will place a strategic focus on the Utilities market in the coming year. As the market enters an age of technological modernization and massive transformation due to increasing customer demand for lower time to resolution and optimized service, the company is positioned to provide utilities with a comprehensive network monitoring and support solution that meets their budgets and unique requirements. The company has also been selected to speak at UTC Telecom 2014 in Phoenix, AZ, the premier telecommunications event for utility professionals.
For those seeking to build a NOC in 2014, INOC now offers a comprehensive portfolio complete with tools and the necessary platform infrastructure to support customers throughout the entire development lifecycle, and beyond. These services include, but are not limited to, Requirements Assessment, Operational Framework Design, Hiring and Training of NOC staff, Runbook Development, and ongoing analysis, review and support.
Service quality and customer satisfaction are key to INOC. The company’s Customer Advocacy department launched in 2011 will continue its focus on customer satisfaction by working closely with INOC team members and clients alike to keep quality control at the forefront of INOC’s NOC support.
INOC has built remarkable momentum and is poised for continued growth in 2014 and beyond.
