INOC, LLC recently announced the participation of its Senior Director of Business Services, Art Meierdirk, at WISPAPALOOZA 2013 in Las Vegas. Mr. Meierdirk will serve as the moderator on the Northeast DAS and Small Cell Association’s (NEDAS)-sponsored panel entitled ‘New Business Opportunities: Small Cells and Wholesale DAS’, taking place Wednesday, October 16th at 9:00am in room 3b of the South Point Hotel and Casino.
Mr. Meierdirk, alongside executive panelists Doug Wiest, EVP of Wireless Services at EdgeConneX and Jorge Forero, Business Development Director for National Accounts at Taqua, LLC, will explore two key drivers of demand for DAS and small cell solutions. The panel will take an in-depth look at the unique coverage needs of large venue owners in the healthcare, education and entertainment industries as well as the many challenges faced by carriers when offloading large users from the macrocell.
Mr. Meierdirk is an industry veteran with over 35 years of telecoms and data communications experience. As Senior Director of Business Services for INOC, his primary focus is on developing markets for wireless and fiber networks across the globe. In addition to core business development, Mr. Meierdirk is responsible for INOC’s extensive Professional Services portfolio, overseeing the development process, taking part in business planning and actively managing various complex projects. Prior to INOC, he held various roles in product, program and outside plant management at AT&T and Tellabs.
